This class is our signature Barre fitness class but family-friendly!
Barre is a hybrid workout class, combining ballet-inspired movement with elements of Pilates, dance, Yoga, and strength training. Barre classes focus on high repetitions of small range movements. Equipment used includes a yoga mat, pilates ball, magic circle/ring, and light weights. We encourage students to bring their own yoga mat - all other equipment is available at the studio.
This class is child-friendly. Children of all ages welcome, but - babies should be worn or in a carrier for safety, and toddlers and older children should be able to play/do another activity during class. Parents attending class are expected to supervise their children for their safety.
Instructor Meagan C is a new mom, a certified group fitness instructor, personal trainer, and a pre/post-natal specialist. This class is designed not only for the postpartum body in mind, but also to make exercise more accessible to moms.
