Our Gentle/Beginner Reformer class is a Pilates class performed on the Pilates Reformer apparatus. It uses springs and a pulley system for resistance and assistance in movement. It is used to perform a variety of Pilates exercises that aim to improve strength, flexibility, posture, and alignment.

If you have never taken a Reformer class before, we require that you take a minimum of 3-4 Gentle/Beginner classes before you try out the Reformer Circuit classes, which requires some knowledge of the apparatus and movements. We also strongly encourage Reformer students to take Mat Pilates classes, too, to gain a greater understanding of the movements.

Using the reformer and tower apparatus, this class allows for six participants, who will rotate performing exercises on either the reformer or the tower.

Since classes are limited to 3 participants, we ask that you cancel your reservation if you cannot attend. We expect some classes will have waitlists, so please allow someone from the waitlist the opportunity to take class. **The Gentle class is limited to 3 so it can be slower paced than the Reformer Circuit class**
