Mat Pilates focuses on strength, stability, posture, and proper breath control, based on the principles developed by Joseph Pilates. Each class will work to balance all muscle groups' strength & flexibility, particularly focusing on the core and spinal strength. Pilates is a safe yet challenging fitness modality that is accessible for all levels.

At Babylon Barre, we believe that Pilates is for everybody and EVERY body - it doesn't matter your fitness level, your size, your shape, etc. Everyone can do Pilates!

Students are encouraged to bring their own yoga mat to class.
